Amazing how so many people struggle with all of the “unknowns” in life. Then they struggle with the “knowns”. So no matter where they turn, they are pre-occupied with all of the distractions and demands put on them these days. It’s like trying to kill the African Bee that is going to sting you painfully, while trying to swat some gnats that are buzzing around you. Clear your head and dwell on this: So where DO you turn for peace in our hearts? Where WOULD you turn, if there would be one trusted source? One source with total authority, total understanding, boundless resources, boundless love and discipline, and complete command of the future? Put all religious stuff aside, close your eyes slowly, and look directly into the eyes of Jesus. He KNOWS each and every event, problem, issue, and situation that you have ever been involved in, are involved in now, and will be involved in, in the future.
That can be a relief or a grave concern, depending on where you stand with God. Forget the balance scales, they don’t exist. There is grace. You MUST turn to His ways, and abandon your own.
